Apple Cornbread Recipe 1



Ingredients:
  • 2 cups white cornmeal
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • ¾ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 2/3 cups milk
  • 3 apples, pared, cored, sliced
Instructions:
  1. Mix the dry ingredients together.
  2. Add the milk and beat thoroughly.
  3. Add the apples and mix.
  4. Pour into well-buttered pan and bake at 450 degrees for 10 to 12 min.
